Let a bottle become the beginning of a conversation.
The wine community, in your language
Maison Apéro is a multilingual home for wine conversations, group discovery, a personal Wine Library, structured evaluations and wine-study questions. Use it in your browser or install the PWA.

Maison Apéro
Maison Apéro is a wine community and communication app. It combines direct messages, group chats, a personal Wine Library, data-driven tasting evaluations and multiple-choice or written study questions in one account across supported devices.
The name and its beginning
A welcoming home where wine starts a conversation instead of ending as a label in a list.
Maison is the French word for a house or home. Apéro is the relaxed moment before a meal when people gather around a drink and conversation. Together, Maison Apéro names a place that welcomes people in and lets one bottle open a shared moment.
The product was shaped around a simple problem: wine conversations, useful references and learning often become separated across different tools. Maison Apéro brings messages, the Wine Library, data-driven evaluations and study questions under one roof, while keeping people and the time they share at the centre.
Let a bottle become the beginning of a conversation.
Keep the bottle, conversation and useful references together.
Move naturally from enjoyment to a more precise understanding.
From course list to review
Use a label, wine-list excerpt or identifying text to request a structured reference evaluation. Results are guidance, and recognition is not guaranteed.
Recognition is not guaranteed. If the image is unclear, Maison asks you to confirm the detected wine or enter its name before the review starts.
Four parts, one wine community
Maison Apéro keeps conversation, a personal wine reference and structured learning together in one clear product flow.
Use direct and group chats to share bottles, links, images and the context around a tasting.
Find wine records by producer, region, grape and vintage, then return to them from your personal collection.
Submit a label, wine-list excerpt or identifying text for a structured reference evaluation. Recognition and evaluation are not guaranteed.
Practise with multiple-choice and written questions by topic, region or a randomized selection.
Illustrative capture-to-review demonstration
Taking an online tasting course? Photograph or crop the row for the wine you want to explore. Maison can try to identify it from a course handout, wine list or PDF screenshot as well as a bottle label.
Frame only the relevant row so the producer, wine and vintage are easy to read.
Maison checks the detected identity against the Wine Library before analysis.
The result appears at the depth available for your plan.
This example shows the presentation difference clearly. Tasting language is illustrative and changes with the wine, vintage and submitted evidence.

Live product demonstration
Two live, in-page demonstrations show the production behavior without depending on an external video player.
After the recipient reads, the message disappears from both online devices after 20 seconds—or immediately when the recipient taps the purple grape.
Left · Sender
Right · Recipient
Disappears automatically 20 seconds after read
Tap to erase manually from both devices
The message changes from blue to yellow to red, the wine glass drains through the final ten seconds, and the same expiry removes it from both devices.

Right · Recipient
Sent with one shared expiry
Remaining time and colour update live
Device removal is not instant server deletion. After the original IGF deadline, server cleanup runs daily at 09:00 JST and may take up to 24 hours.
Maison Emphasis
Inline emphasis makes your key point clear inside the message composer, without turning it into a separate card.
The > button sits immediately to the right of GIF in both direct and group chats.
Maison adds a new line when needed, then inserts > so you can type the important passage.
The emphasized line and active > button turn emerald while normal text keeps its usual colour.
Tap > again or press Enter. The completed emphasis stays emerald and the next line returns to normal text.
Available in direct messages and group chats on the Web, installed PWA and native mobile apps. Emphasis remains plain-text compatible while Maison presents the important line in emerald.
What made this vintage feel so precise?
One detail stood out:
> The cooler season preserved the acidity.
Enter also returns to normal text
Keep the conversation and the bottle context together, whether you are sharing with one friend or learning with a group.
Talk one to one, share wine moments and keep conversation preferences under your control.
Create group conversations, invite members and organize shared wine discoveries.
Find wines by producer, region, grape and vintage, then build a personal collection you can revisit.
Request a structured reference evaluation or practise multiple-choice and written questions by topic, region or at random.
Send up to five images at once. After optimization, images are limited to 10 MB, videos to 25 MB and general files to 10 MB. Non-animated image and native video sources can be up to 100 MB before optimization; web videos must already be 25 MB or less.
Message IGF is always ON. Free supports 1 minute to 4 weeks; Réserve and Trial support 1 minute to 52 weeks. Réserve and Trial admins may separately switch group-level IGF ON or OFF.
The tint follows actual time remaining: blue above 1 week, yellow from over 24 hours through 1 week, and red at 24 hours or less. A draining wine glass appears in the final 10 seconds.
A purple grape marks eligible one-to-one Vanish-on-Read messages. The recipient can tap it to remove the message immediately from both users’ online devices; otherwise it disappears 20 seconds after the recipient reads it. Offline devices catch up when next online.
Tap and the 20-second flow do not instantly erase server data. After the selected IGF deadline, every plan uses the same daily cleanup at 9:00 AM JST, with up to 24 hours of delay. Downloads, other-app copies and screenshots cannot be remotely deleted.
